La Forest asked about job openings and received a number for the human resources department. Renee gave up her job to take care of her family after Delaney was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma of the sinus and facial bones on June 26, 2002. Now that Delaney is in remission and all three children are going back to school, La Forest is trying to re-enter the work force so she can support the family. The phone call did not result in anything. La Forest said it is difficult to find a job that could work with her requirements as a single mother.
